Mirage 2000
I first made a protoype-model in google sketchup. I then unfolded everything so I had a 2D view of all the parts.
Saved it as a pdf file and printed out all pages.
This is the sketchup model:

So after all the pages where taped together I had my BIG plan. Time to cut everything out …
I made all the parts from 3mm white depron and taped both sides with fibertape. This gives the plane alot of strength even if it’s 3mm depron. Offcourse it adds some weight to the plane too.
For glue I strongly recommend UHU POR!
Just put some glue on both sides, wait 5 minutes and press them together.
Here are some pictures:

Need to find the center of gravity now and put in all electronics. She’ll then be ready for a maiden flight.
Right now the wingspan is 1m30 and the length of the plane is almost 2meters!
I’ll probably make the plans a little bit smaller, but for the prototype this is ok
More info on this project soon …
